Wanna Bee Racing was originated in 1992 by the Grigg family when they acquired a 7 litre hydroplane. Working diligently through the winter they made their debut in spring of 1993. The driver was John Grigg Jr., who was new to the now Grand National Hydroplane class, having graduated from a 5 litre boat.
